Technical Product Manager

Position Purpose
The Technical Product Manager will have the right
combination of technical skills and product management experience to
collect, define, and prioritize future technical product requirements.
The individual must be comfortable working closely with the executives,
sales and marketing, development, support, and operations teams.
Qualifications
- BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; MBA preferred
- Solid understanding of product management processes
- Ability
to create PRDs and use cases and user stories; perform competitive
analysis; feature/function prioritization and assessment
- Ability
to understand the requirements of the various decision makers in an
organization and how to be the customer advocate
- Proven teamwork and people management skills; excellent interpersonal, presentation, written and oral communication skills
- Well-developed
analytical skills with the ability to gather data from a variety of
sources, assess their validity and formulate hypothesis, including
financial statements, primary and secondary research, customer and
partner interviews
- Great "can do" attitude and service orientation
- Five or more years' product management experience
- Strong background in Agile/XP development methodologies
