A few months ago we blogged about an English class in Thailand whose teacher had found our video of “The Opposite Song” online and used it with his English class.
At the time, the video had just reached 20,000 views on YouTube. Well, this week the video passed 40,000 views, and the comments continue to roll in from around the world.
“I teach English to French-speaking elementary school kids in Gabon, Africa, and they absolutely love this song! Many of them try to imitate those fabulous dance moves, but we’re not quite good enough yet! I hope to get the older (7- and 8-year-old) kids to sing this on stage at the end of the school year. Thanks!”
I am amazed that something we created has spread so effortlessly from the United States to Thailand to Africa. And I hope this teacher posts a video of these students dancing to “The Opposite Song” on stage!
