Halloween is fast approaching, and in order to make the ghost of it, we have resurrected our favorite activity from last year: Booster’s Costume Creator. And as a bonus, we’re having a contest and giving away prizes!

In this interactive site that’s both fun and educational, Booster proves once again that he isn’t too-ghoul-for-school. Your kids can help dress up Imagine Learning characters in fun costumes, both hysterical and historical. Learn about Cleopatra, Blackbeard, or Einstein as you craft your creepy creation. Choose a background, pick a message, and then send your masterpiece to friends and family as an e-card.

We want to see what you and your students come up with! From now through October 31, send your e-card to us at blog@imaginelearning.com and you’ll be entered into a drawing for a free Mike the Microphone talking plush toy. Mike encourages oral language development in young learners and is fun for home or classroom use. We’ll draw 5 names from all entrants to win.

But wait, there’s more! While Booster’s Costume Creator has plenty of fun Halloween messages to choose from, we want to add to the list. So in the comments below, give us your best “Bard to the bone” or “E=mc Scared”-type greeting. Our favorite submission will also win a Mike toy, and we’ll implement it into next year’s Costume Creator!

So to recap, here are two ways to win a Mike toy:

1. Make an e-card on Booster’s Costume Creator and email it to blog@imaginelearning.com by October 31st.
2. Compose your own message for Booster’s Costume Creator and submit it in the Comments section below.

What are you waiting for? Start creating costumes fright this very minute! Happy Halloweenglish from all of us at Imagine Learning.
