February is Black History Month—a time to celebrate the great accomplishments of black inventors, musicians, writers, and athletes as well as public activists who dedicated their lives to ensuring that freedom be made available to all, regardless of race, gender, religion, or nationality.
At Imagine Learning, we recognize the significance of the events that unfolded to transform the United States into a country that values equal opportunity, of which education is a central component.
To help you and your students celebrate Black History Month, we’ve created a free printable classroom activity worksheet. Click the “Read more” link to view the activity.
Note: An answer key can be found at the bottom right-hand corner of the worksheet.
We would really appreciate feedback about this activity. Did your students enjoy completing it? Did it provide a positive learning experience? If there are ways to improve this activity to better help your students, we welcome your suggestions.
