Welcome to Traverse

Traverse® is a comprehensive social studies curriculum for grades 6–12 that provides robust history, economics, geography, and government content within a framework that inspires students to ask questions, stay curious, and become lifelong critical thinkers and informed citizens.

What’s new for back to school 2026

Expanded Spanish digital access (grades 6–8)

Digital versions of Traverse middle school courses are now available in Spanish with high school courses to follow in 2027. Spanish digital access will extend across student materials, assessments, media, and interactive experiences. Students can engage with content and submit responses in Spanish within the platform, supporting access while maintaining course rigor. Select specialized sources may remain in English when translation rights are unavailable.

Mobile app for offline learning

Students can now access Traverse through a new mobile app designed for offline learning. Students can complete work anytime, anywhere, with progress automatically syncing when reconnected to the internet.

Simplified printing tools

Starting back to school 2027, printing materials from the platform will be easier than ever. Teachers and administrators can generate printable resources with the click of a button, supporting flexible learning and offline instruction.
